Interior Design offerings:
Pre-planning Review
Your architect designs the building. We make sure it works for YOUR life.
Beautiful homes absolutely matter - of course they do. But the homes that truly stand the test of time are the ones designed around the people living in them.
And honestly, this is exactly why we offer our pre-planning service before any renovation work begins.
Because the earlier you properly think through HOW your home needs to function, the better the outcome will be. It’s about spotting the things you haven’t thought about yet - the routines, frustrations, storage gaps and lifestyle details that can completely change how a home feels once you’re living in it.

Full Interior Design Service
Doing a full interior rework either on an existing property or imagining it from scratch as it comes out the ground needs skills. We at Honeycomb have honed those skills over the last 15 years and can make the experience of creating a home enjoyable and exciting without the fear of being overwhelmed.
Our homes truly are our private havens, and the one space when we can let our own personal style run free. Artwork, wall colour, furniture, and those small finishing touches are what makes a house feel like a home.
People are often nervous about working with interior designers. This is why the first step is always a discussion about what you want and what your budget is. This ensures that you, as the client, will always be understanding about what we will be providing, how much it will cost and when it will happen.
Transparency at every stage is key to an exciting, creative and rewarding design process.
Bespoke Cabinetry
Dovetails and details, cabinetry is an art form, to produce something that is highly functional and holds up to the demands of modern life whilst still being aesthetically pleasing is a challenge, one that I personally adore and regularly accept!
Our global obsession with objects means that we need storage or displays areas in all rooms of our homes. Lit display cases to show off your travel treasures, deep cupboards to hide the mounds of plastic that come with children these days or your walk in wardrobe to organise those high end garments into seasonal colours. Cabinetry is everywhere in your home, it utilises nooks and crannies and elevates dark corners into areas of delight.
There are a stunning variety of finishes available these days from the classic oiled oak to the easily maintained paint finish to that exquisite eucalyptus herringbone veneer…your imagination is your limit.
Interior Architecture
Choosing internal finishes for a whole home is often a stressful process. When the world is your oyster where do you start? Especially when your dream of building a home was all about the gorgeous fabrics and furniture not the grout colour and the finish of the light switches. Well that is where we can help!
Our history in high end private property development means we understand the stress of wanting it to look amazing and having a budget. Balancing these is always tricky and a skilled we have honed.
We streamline the process by providing you with a limited number of options for each element (carpet/ tiles/ ironmongery etc). Any of the elements chosen will work with the others and the end result is a curated palette of internal finishes and elements.
These are then scheduled into a document and can be given to your contractor to price on. It gives them understanding of the look you want to achieve but also the leeway to bring other similar products to the table if they can better the price or lead-time.
We pride ourselves on our ability to create schemes which are bespoke to each client’s budget, project limitations and architectural design.

HOW WE WORK
Chat + Consultation
Book a discovery chat, this is a 20 minute chat to enables us to understand your projects requirements, and to see if we have a shared affinity.
After the discovery call, if we are moving forward we book in a paid consultation, which is either held on zoom or if needed at the project property and lasts about 90-120mins. In this meeting we deep dive into your project.
Measure + Design
Once you have approved the proposal, the work starts. We will create an initial design concept, usually with plans, key elevations, images and sample boards, using measurements taken by us or provided by your architect or specialist surveying team.
Presentation
We present and discuss each element with you, so that you can provide feedback on every aspect. After a few iterations, the final design will be signed off and we will move to the next stage.
Onsite + Procurement
We believe in working closely with your onsite team, this is the key to a smooth build process. We procure all elements of the interior design. We organise all the suppliers to ensure deliveries are made when they are needed.
Installation
Whether large or small, installation is a whirlwind. We organise this so deliveries occur over a one or two day period. We arrange all the furniture, fit all window treatments, and add the dressing so the rooms are totally complete. Then it’s time for you to have that ‘WOW’ moment and enjoy the finished product.
